In patch 1.06, Stugs and SU-85's can be selected and placed on the map in groups, whereas in 1.05 they could only be selected individually-

Stug group (4 SPG's)

Improved Explosions Effects' module
Amnesia posted a good vid of some new Explosions in this thread-

so I've made these stills from it but they're not as good as the vid because screenshots can't capture motion- 

Panther firing without (sans) the mod-



and the explosion throws up clods of earth-



Now it fires with (avec) the mod-



which throws up a "crown" of smoky debris-

NOTE- The 1.06 patch contains many more tweaks not included in this thread, for example the number of tanks in some groups has been adjusted up or down to match historical data

The patch is now available, seems BIS forums was very busy or down so there was no access to the thread that had the links to the patch,
however the patch is for the Arma version of the game, that means you must have the following:

Iron front
Arma2CO, DLC is optional
Arma3 (if if you want the conversion for that)

Follow this thread here to convert your Iron front to a mod for Arma2Co or if you want Arma3 if you have it.

Is there a .PBO version of the avec mod? The one in the conversion is san's mod.

If you converted your Iron front to arma mod, then just use Blastcore, much better imo.
But for that just rename the ifa to pbo and it will work.

Thanks for this great work, I've tried in conjunction with the GL4 mod,FAW Arty 1.3(using BIS 2b14podnos mortar for both sides), JSRS,JTD F&S, and many more... and works perfectly using the alpine stars ArmA II launcher ... thanks again!!

The only problem I see that germans are in BLUFOR, and the invasion 1944 mod germans are opfor and also I have faults with the mod RUG DSAI (dynamic speak sound) by faction change, Germans speak English... xD ..[biggrin]
