Hi guys.
 Working my way thru the Eden editor and playing with modules, tasks and objectives.
Here's what I want.
 In my test scenario I want a message to pop up on screen in mission when a trigger is activated. Similar to the "Task Succeeded" pop up that dings when you meet a requirement.
Example; An enemy troop transport spawns and is heading to reinforce the opfor im engaged with.

A pop up message says something like "Intel reports enemy reinforcements on the way ETA 10 minutes"
I can't use the Tasks created and Tasks Succeeded modules because then this would be in the list of tasks in the mission briefing or is there another way around it. It's not a task but sort of a heads up message. Don't even know if this is possible.

  Sure wish this came with a decent manual but...

Use hints.
in a trigger or waypoint init box put:

Code:
hint "Intel reports enemy reinforcements on the way ETA 10 minutes";

Hi Gunter
 I tried this and no matter what I did it would not come up. The closest I was able to come was using a create tasks module synced with a trigger which will pop up in gameup. However this puts it in the tasks area in the briefing whenever the trigger fires.
 I like your tip better but I'm doing something wrong. Can you expand please?
