Hello guys!

I am having a question connected to IF in A2CO + IF.

That means I installed Arma 2 CO and also installed the i44 mod for it.
The next I did was to convert the IF game also into Arma 2 CO.

My question is:

I want to use the Warmod(s) "IFA2 Warmod" &/or "i44Warmod".
Do I need them both to play it, though i combined i44 and Iron Front?

And where do i need to put them?
I guess putting them both in the main Arma 2CO directory isnt right, is it?

Thank you for you help!

greetings,

Hello Ba5terd,
Your best bet was to just ask me or post a reply on the IFWarMod thread for IFA2.
Basically what your asking is to run your game with this mod setup:

@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@IF;@DDay;I44;@IFWarMod;COWarModI44

So you want to play with Iron Front in Arma2CO, and Invasion 1944 mod together along with a WarMod.
Couple of things:
  1. IFWarMod was built for Iron front in IFA2 (arma2CO)
  2. COWarModI44 is custom built for Invasion 1944 only
  3. you cannot play with both WarMods, why you would be running redundant files, that would cost your game performance along with errors and whatever else.

Heres what I suggest you do:
  1. you can use one of the WarMods, but not both, i highly recommend using IFWarMod as it was made for Iron Front, and is more recent then COWarModI44
  2. you can also run IF and I44 together along with WarMod, just not both WarMods
  3. Run your startup (what you launch your game with) like this:
-nosplash -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@IF;@DDay;I44;@IFWarMod

All mods for Arma2CO go here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead
basically the main directory of the game, or in other words the same place the arma2oa.exe is at.

Any more questions please ask, I will move your thread here to the proper section.

Thank you a lot!

I am really sorry for posting my questions each time at the wrong threat.

I do not have a lot of forum experience so far.

But thank you for your help Gunther! [smile]
