If you watch this post, you can see that i have tried to make a Panther Ausf D1 with turret of PzKpfw IV Ausf H.
But if i set the ammo at 0 for the Panther (in order to stop the use of its main gun), it will not be able to use its machinegun.
And for the PzKpfwIV, as i want to let the ammunitions for the turret, automatically the machiegun is full, even i would like to see it empty.

Does someone know how to set empty the different ammunitions of a tank (main gun and machinegun), without using the "barrel" in the control panel of the tank ?
I have made tries, but i didn't succeed.

1.  Find the class name of the weapon.  For example in Arma2 one weapon has the class name "M16".

2. Remove the magazines for that weapon.  For example:   this removeMagazines "M16";

In Iron Front, each weapon in the tank has a class name and you can remove the magazines form one weapon but not the others.

Further you can test this by placing one pilot on the map. In his init type: hint format["%1 %2", weapons this, magazines this];

You get a list of the class name of all weapons and magazines.  I chose a pilot because he carries very little so can easily understand. This also works for aircraft and everything else in the game.

Thk's Joe98 for this trick. [smile]

I heva found the class name fot the gun and coaxial machinegun for the Panther (and i have remove it with the command).
But for the PzKpfwIV, i don't fint the class name for the machine gun in the chassis. I have searched in the file config.cpp of PzKpfwIV, but impossible to find...
Where can i find this ? How can i remove the machinegun in the chaasis, without removing the machinegun of the turret ?
