A new patch, as promised [wink]

 Be sure to have the latest version available (IFA3 1.11, IF 1.14, optional: DLC 1.09).

  • Fixed MG42 sounds
  • Fixed Thompson sounds
  • Fixed rifles rebolting sound
  • Fixed  PPSH's closure sounds
  • Fixed Muzzle flash on stuka guns
  • Fixed Pz Kpfw IV Ausf.H textures.
  • Fixed Fw 190 can't take off
  • Fixed Opel trucks textures.
  • Fixed M3 halftrack gunner animation
  • Fixed tanks are too loud
  • Fixed Mp40 single shot creates two shell casings
  • Fixed US willys sounds
  • Tweaked mass of bags and AT
  • Added physx to the Tiger (still WIP)
  • Added Pz Kpfw V hiddenSelections ("camo1","camo2")
  • Improved performance for US weapons
  • Improved bolting animation

Known issues:

  • Sherman engine sound
  • Tiger wip physx and animation

 

If the exe won't patch your game, try the following:

- be sure to have the mods in the A3 folder
- unzip the exe
- copy the unzipped exe inside the A3 folder
- create a link of the unzipped exe
- right click on the link -> property -> destination -> add at the end: -incurrentfolder


PS: admin, feel free to move it, I wasn't sure where to open it

Congrats on the release Giallustio!
I moved the thread to the arma3 section, suggest renaming the thread title to IFA3 Patch v1.15 as that is what it is.

As for your changelog, you could list those bugs and issues that you crossed off on the other thread, which im sure your planning on doing.

Yes congrats!!

Just in time for the weekend.

Like G√ľnter mentioned above, cross those bugs and issues off that were fixed in this patch for all to see and maybe start a new thread with unresolved or new found bugs.  <-- I see you just did this as I wrote this lol.

Quick question, how would we access those  Pz Kpfw V hiddenSelections ("camo1","camo2")?


ISSUE: firing from FW190, the guns are centered to the left of the gun sight.

Added changelog!

I'm taking a look at the possibility to merge all the pbos in one single folder, It could take some time, but it will be a lot easier for the new guys.
I've to update all the AiA configs too, I'll talk to the CUP team about it!

Playin the mod i noticed that a lot of buildings have problems, I'll take a look at those too if i can.

Title of the thread updated to reflect what patches are being released, also pinned the thread as this is an official patch
as you had worked with Kju to get it released.

A suggestion Gallustrio is to also post a release thread on Bis forums, like i did here for the 1.14 patch

I posted it in the General section and the moderators stickied it.
I could post a release thread for you and spif it up if you like, like i did the 1.14.
But i will make an announcement on IFA3 official thread, so folks know theres a patch out for IFA3.

Also i would suggest is that you mention that this is an official patch as it was done with Kju's oversite and source files so folks dont think that this
is just a mod patch to fix various issues, but an official patch for IFA3, which for alot of folks is surprising considering the devs aren't really
working on IFA3 anymore, you are in replace.

As for further work on the patch, now that it is released, we can just use this thread here for all reports from anyone, then just make a list of
what was reported and cross them out as they get fixed, just a thought.

Lol ok, I been doing PR for Iron front since Oct 2012 [wink]
So i will take care of it, I will create the thread and then post news on the MR, and then the MR steam group too.

Hey Giallustrio, you know how to port weapons?
I have some and would be interested in learning, could you make a tutorial or a list of steps I could follow to get the weapons i have in IFA3?

Congrats! Nice work, could you tell me how you fixed those Stuka muzzle flashes? that problem is in IFA2 as well.

It was a missing texture, i had to port the model and replace it with the A3 muzzleflash

The second option worked for me -incurrentfolder, for some reason it never knows where my Arma 3 directory is, any ideas? every patch has been the same plus patching shows 1.54 to 1.99 and says installed successfully.
