Hello,

Did those people that took my sounds and skins get them to work in the game?

Hope you did and I can see them in the next mod.

I have done a bit of play testing and report the following:

It all looks good, skins in right places sounds ok.

Sometimes the tanks go way too fast.

The tanks do not seem to take any damage, I shot a Sherman with a panther until all my ammo was gone and he just kept driving. Same with a Stain tank. Climbed aboard a PIV that was being shot at until all the crew were dead for about 15 mins and it was undamaged.

My tank got damaged and stayed damaged and did not heal, so that is an improvement.

The Sherman has some problems, some of which if had in vanilla form too: MG position show a peri view and no aiming portal for firing mg. Engine sounds are no right, better but not there yet. The reload sound is still the abrams sound from arma2.

Tiger I has strange side shadows on the right hand non driver side and appears to have a doubled track graphic skin too. 

On all tanks as commander it seems to take ages to get the bino view established. In the vanilla game and also in a3 generally it is instant.

What does happen tho is you get a hit to the cannon and it falls down and becomes inoperable, as do all weapons, as tho they are linked together in the code, even the commanders periscopes droop down and no longer work, and then after a litttle while they work again. 3 points, 1 is that the cannon it too easily damaged, 2 it should not be linked to other parts, 3 it should not heal.

I love the clanking sounds when driving. Very nice addition. It sounds like some of Lord Jarheads soundmod sounds and is awesome, really adds to immersion

I hope you can make use of my tank engine sounds as they are recordings of the real tank motors and I have used them in my realism mod for Red Orchestra and Darkest Hour called RealPanzer, it is still running if you want to hear the sounds on the Real Panzer Darkest Hour server.

I have driven and tested all the tanks now and above are the things that I found that need fixing as compared to the vanilla game of which I have played thousands of hours in tanks.

Nice to see would be:

bino view for all positions.
Smoke and grenade dischargers for Germans tanks.
Manual turret turn with matching sounds so that you can sit with the engine off in ambush and not have it turn on when turning the turret.
As commmander instruct that engine be turned off.
When you get out the vehicle remains stationary and your crew does not run you over trying to stay in formation with you.
Real engine sounds. 

Thanks and please keep up the good work, if I can help I would, I can do sounds, skins and a bit of coding. Making pbos and putting it altogether I need help with.

I am just interested in the tanks and would love to help out on those.

Alduric posted on the Skype channel that the US Infantry weapons cause significant drops in FPS. I said I would post it here so you can add it to the bug list.

I have been playing the arma2 conversion for IF44 and it is excellent. It runs really well and looks and sounds great. When the arma3 IF44 conversion runs as good then you know you have made it. It is good guide as to how the game should look and feel.

Hello,

HAve been playing a bit more if3 and report the following tank observations for fixing:

Most tanks have pathing problems when driven by the AI, they move across the map lurching from side to side. The StuG III is particularly bad as is the panther and t34.

One tank that seems to not lurch is the tigerII maybe borrow some code from there and place it in the others to cure the problem.

The tiger 1 accelerates too fast especially in reverse. It also lurches when driven by AI and the gun is knocked out with almost every first hit, sometimes it heals after a short time and sometimes not.
