second, with the latest update of CBA freezes when running ... any fix?

Thanks for your work, it's great to play a WWII mod in ARMA

So your saying the game freezes with my mod after you applied the latest CBA_A3?

I'm running the latest CBA and have no issues, are you running v1.50 for Arma3?
Does your IFA3 start at all without my mod with Arma3 v1.50?

as IFA3 right now does not work with Arma3 v1.50 which has nothing to do with my mod but my mod is for IFA3,
so if you cannot run IFA3 then well neither will the mod.

So try running IFA3 without IFA3WarMod and see if it runs, if it does then there should be no issue,
if it dont, then refer to the link and follow the directions.

Hello,

Thanks for your great work on this mod.

Some time ago my arma3 version of IF stopped working and still does not work.

When I installed your Warmod it started working again which is great.

One thing that bothers me a bit is the tiger  tank motor sounds do no change when driving, they just stay on the idle sound, is that something you can fix or do? Have reported it as a bug at dev heaven.

Also I am the creator of the RealPanzer mod for Red Orchestra and Darkest Hour. In this mod we put in real tank motor sounds to replace the game sounds, I would be more than happy to provide the real tank sounds to you so that they too could be included in the mod. The sounds were created from recording of the real tank motors running on youtube videos and that sort of thing.

That is an excellent idea, yes the tank sounds for both tiger and other tanks to me are not really good, the tiger tank is not finished, I think that the new sounds would
be an ideal fix/upgrade to the game along with adding immersion to the game, i will talk with my partner Scar who does most of the coding for the mod and see
if we can do this.

What tanks do you have sounds for, for the tanks in Iron front?

Will get back to you on this, thanks for the idea, and support!

Hello and thanks for the welcome.

I have been a player of IF44 for years since its release as it is the best tank sim for WW2 tanks around. That it is now in ARMA3 is fantastic.

I have sounds for all the tanks in IF44 plus a whole lot more, we must have about 100 tanks each with its own original sound in the RealPanzer mod.

I will make a dropbox folder with the sounds for the tanks in IF44 in it and post the link here in this thread when done.

I also did some new skins for some of the German tanks a while back, just put some red braun camo over the green and yellow camo. Maybe we can find a way of using those too.

On another subject and just for fun I did a test last night where I put IF44 tanks up against the Slammer and Kuma etc. Looks like the coding is different as the IF44 tanks won! The Arma3 tanks could not damage a IF44 tank and the IF44 tanks were able to destroy the modern tanks with one hit.

Hi there I'm new on the forums.

Well, first of all I want to thank you for this mod and the efforts that you're putting on it 'cause it really looks wonderful. Secondly I must apologise for not having introduced myself properly on the forums but I couldn't find any specific subforum nor tread to do it.

The reason why I'm making this post it's to ask (if it has already been asked, excuse me), if there would be any way to make this mod work for the MP, because we're having heavy sync problems on our server which makes it impossible to play on-line. So I was wondering, and pardon me if this sounds rude, if there was any way to making it more stable like leaving only the .pbo files with the extra uniforms and weapons (about the uniforms I know about the GEIST addon).

This idea just came to my mind so if you think that this could happen, would it be possible to tell me which files would make it work? I don't know if I explained it well, I could try to rephrase it if needed.

Again, thanks for the mod and thanks for your attentions.

As for your question pertaining to the mod, suggest take out the following files to improve performance:

  • ada_riflegrenade_if.pbo
  • dfs_cartridges.pbo
  • GL5_System.pbo
  • vz_a3_adjustableGrenades.pbo
  • zooloo75_FFIS.pbo

try those for starters.

Hello, very good at all , I'm new to this community. First of all apologize for my bad English and thank all those who are working 
hard in all areas to enjoy this fantastic mod and Iron Front in Arma 3 .
Not if I'm late , but I passed it on the Iron Front explosives Arma 3 I normally work, but when I load the Warmod are disabled.
They are really incompatible ? They do not work if the Warmod charge ?? I am doing something wrong ??? ...Thanks in advance for the answers.

Explosives dont work with IFA3 and needs a fix to fix it, it has nothing to do with the mod, atm theres
no way to fix it as IFA3 requires a patch, and we are waiting for a patch.

Hi Gunter,

Do you remmeber which addon contains the "evasive move"? I would like to take mine out as I think looks a bit to much as if AI is falling all over the place [biggrin]
