Alright guys a new update is now available!

Currently this may not be a final patch, i may have more features, or updates coming for this.
First post has been updated with the new link, and added info.

New features added:
  • Disabled weapon sway - Disables the weapon sway completely - exhaustion from movement is from a different source.
  • Disabled Infantry weapon dispersion - Reduced the dispersion for infantry weapons to basically zero.
  • Take command of AI infantry squad
  • Option to spawn ladders and gain access to any otherwise inaccessible rooftops or buildings, a fun feature rather then realistic
  • IFWarMod Loading screen

IFWarMod Patch v1.1

Notes: alot of these features have nothing to do with realism of the game except for maybe two of them, they are more for fun, and added features you may enjoy.
  Like all WarMod mods in the series it is a customizable compilation mod, if you dont like a certain feature then simply remove the file in the addons folder.

If your not sure about what file does what, or want to remove a feature but dont know the file then ask me here.

Hi Gunter....I play with and I found it (too fun)...

you could add more effects on the destroyed vehicles (Funds separate turrets tanks) .... flying turrets in the air after a hit ...???

otherwise everything is perfect...[cool]

Great, nothing I can find that will will create such an effect, Iron front already had blown turrets if you hit the tanks in a certain way, depends,
but the main aspects of IFWarMod is really the infantry and the the dust, and explosion effects, for the infantry its all revolved around wounding, blood,
bleeding, animations, movement control, weapon control, and many other misc features, as well as AI enhancement.

The next update Im currently testing and atm I am waiting on a modder whos helping me with some coding for something
as a feature is working but has a minor bug in it, but will release as soon as I get the issue solved, hoping by the weekend.

Hey guys, little discovery i made, is if your leading a squad or a few guys, and they get injured to where giving them first aid dont do anything and they require a medic,
use ard (press F1) and a menu will pop up on the right, towards the bottom of that list is a button for medic.

If theres a medic in the group then he would heal the fellow soldiers if there isn't one then pressing medic I found will make each soldier in your squad give
themselves first aid, for the guys that need a medic i had 1 instance where he was healed when i used this method, but cant seem to reproduce it everytime.
Just a thought, try it out, any tips you guys have let us know.

Update
atm im currently testing a new patch as mentioned before in a previous post, there is a feature I want to add but it currently has a minor issue with something
which has to specifically do with IF weapons, nothing like crashing or freezes or anything just a conflict in the feature itself as it has to do with classname usage,
so I think I will release the patch without this  feature for now til I get it sorted.

Hey guys reporting on the patch, its the weekend finalyl now i got time to do stuff, this past week has been busy with all sorts of sh*t [crazy]

Anyways I think i will release the patch i have as the other feature i was working on with another modder is on hold right now, hes looking at some
code for me and trying to see whats working and whats not, but i will release the patch sometime this weekend. Stay tuned!

  • added slx_anim_swim: an updated file for SLX that removes the hpp requirement, the feature allows the player to swim longer with less fatigue & faster
  • added SLX_AI_NoAutoEngage: Make AI not suicide engage/attack on their own.
  • added slx_anim_injured:  Makes injured animations not have weird warping
  • added SLX_ModWeapons_Sounds_Impact:  Bullet impact sounds
  • added AI should stay in formations when overwhelmed

  • added Patch features readme, this will provide details on whats in the v1.2 patch
