Remember its for Invasion 1944 and not IF44 (Iron Front), so dont get confused between the two.

Hi Joarius,
It means if you use Play withSIX to launch your game and control your mods,
you will need to add @MAP to your game main folder, and then add it to your launch collection manually.

If you don't use Pw6 at all; yes, add the string @MAP_EU
(or @MAP - however you've named it) and the other mods for the string:
@CBA3
@IFA3
@LIB_DLC_1
@GEIST - these are all required!

Also, for the EL Alamein Template (and others to follow),
you will also need to run the ARMA 3 Map Pack:
@A3MP

This will also launch the TvT FlakTurme Mission - Baranow

Hello friends. I just tested the templates on Arma3.

And I see that there is some buildings ( Stalingrad...The dock along the river and are above batîments [wink]..that have lost the right level to the ground...[mad].

indeed, there is a slight difference in some islands with Arma2...

you have 3 solutions:

1. You remove all the flying object or you are with.[eek]

2. you change the "This SETPOS" in .init line.[crazy]

3.Or you are patient ..... And you expect me to do.[sleep]

Suggest you link the required outside mods, Im referring to the @GEIST, @A3MP, and of course the @Map_EU
IFA3 Mods are a given as if you say IFA3 then all those mods for IFA3 are required anyways.
Standard launch setup for IFA3 is this @CBA_A3,@IF,@LIB_DLC_1,@IFA3SA,@ifa3m,@IFA3,@IFA3m so CBA is already required to run IFA3
so also not needed to list.

So for example like this:
@IFA3
@LIB_DLC_1
@GEIST  (link)
@MAP_EU (link)
@A3MP (link)

An insight for you for listing mods, plus with the linked mods, it helps me accelerate building a listings where
I can just copy the link vs, having to search for it.

Also you have maps on Baranow, and Ivachev, they are using DLC units and assets?
As im trying to list the mission specific to what they use either IFA3, or IFA3 & the DLC.

Also why A3MP when the AIATP is a more updated, and optimized version?
A3MP is from 2014, where AIATP is from May 2015.

@vandevoorde
I did have some problems with 'flying objects' when I first started to try the port.
I soon realised that I had actually 'duplicated' the entire template by initiating the mission incorrectly.
This might not make sense at first read, but double-check that you do not have two (or maybe three!) of everything!
I saw tanks and so forth fly through the air, and then noticed that when I stood up, there was a sniper in the kneeling position, exactly where I had been.
By saving a new mission of the template, and then merging the template I had created a double-echo and things went very awry.
I can change the 'setpos' for any buldings that are not sitting right, but you would definitely do the better job of it : -)
As far as I checked, this only affected one bunker and a gun emplacement near the river on the Spring Baranow Template?
If there are any more, I didn't spot them on first check,

@Gunter

Like so:
@IFA3
@LIB_DLC_1
@GEIST  (download link [Pw6])
@MAP_EU (download link [Armaholic])
@A3MP (download link [Armaholic])

As for maps on Baranow and Ivachev, it's a good point; as long as any units or vehicles placed are either stock or GEIST Soviet or German, there should be no need to open any of the non-populated templates running with the DLC.
I have not created a dependency on @LIB_DLC_1 by saving the Templates with it running, so those Templates do not require the DLC (I checked).
I will add this to the checklist for the Templates, and if any of them do require the DLC, I'll list it as such.
As for the choice over @AiATP, it is just my choice.
I have had a few problems with the AiATP, and .kju has officially withdrawn support for it?
He'll no longer be updating it, and the BI Forum thread has been closed.
If you do get along with it, I'd be interested to know if these Templates are opening and working OK using AiATP as an alternative to @A3MP.
Also, if uploading or categorizing the templates is going to delay the release of @IFA3WARMOD,
I'm sure Vandevoorde would agree that that should be #1 priority : -)

Ok, Idk anything about AIATP havent used it in a long time now, been nothing but IF for me for the past months.
Also dont forget @GEIST is on the MR--->  http://www.missionrepository.com/texture-packs-1-2

Suggest putting your priorities when linking files towards IF supporting sites over PWS or Armaholic, linking MR first over
anyone else if the same file is hosted there as the MR is specially and only Iron front, and host for all files IF.
PW6 and Armaholic are a bit of everything.

Considering i am the only person/site whom decided to take the reigns so to speak and fix the clusterf*ck in the community with
all the missions all over creation, and hosted by excuse my language F*cked up hosting sites with all their ads, popup adds, flashing lights, timers,
multiple confusing downloads, membership requirements, key code, security checks, WTF! [rolleyes][crazy]
MR files are, 1 link, 1 download, nothing else! Simple and direct!

Anyways I'll go with A3MP for the listings then.

*first post updated [thumb]

OK ~ But bear in mind there are now 10+ vandevoorde A2 templates on my hard-drive that are opening in A3.
To run the checks on them and get them zipped with a read me is going to take a bit of time.
+We also need to fix a couple of placement errors on the Baranow Stalingrad Template

*update ~ the Baranow Stalingrad templates have been fixed ~ placements adjusted ~

DAM! @A3MP is like 5gb!!
if you download from Armaholic it has the pack split in 3 so each pack except part 3 is 2.0gb!

What about the additional pack for @A3MP?
Any templates that you are porting that requires that? as for that you need the additional pack and the actual maps.

So far I have a new page for the 5 you have released so far.

@A3MP does carry some weight, but thankfully none of the templates need the additional pack.

Thank's for the new page!

Continuing the collection:

Vandevoorde: Big City Spring Ivachev

*please note, I have added a 'recommended / optional' Zone Restriction Module to some templates.
These will check units grouped to it who attempt to walk into the void away from the template, or mapped Island areas.
There will be hint warning, then if you do not turn back...
They are easily removed or adjusted, there is one trigger, for the 'do not leave' area affected, and one Module,
which has been configured with optional text and outcome for units who do go past the zone limit.

 The requirements for the template are the same as for the Winter version:

@IFA3
@GEIST  (download link [MR])
@MAP_EU (download link [Armaholic])

Unless you want to add US Units or Vehicles, in which case you will need @LIB_DLC_1,
these @mods will open the template for you to work with.
