Well that's a hard thing for me to understand for now.
There are things needed to be global and or local and holy cow, there comes the dedi too

The first thing I inserted ito my scripts is :

if (!isServer) exitWith {};
My idea was, that only the server maschine should do the work and will inform the clients.
While testing my first mission to come (in MP) most things seem to work using this line above at the begin of every script I made myself.
Now my friends would like to play this mission alone in SP.
No problem I thought so and exported to SP.
Soon the first alarm came: "I didn't found your scripted mortar as I saw it in MP..."

You must know that I heavily scripted the mortar as selfrunning AI including many many features I liked to add. Just to place a mortar and all other stuff will be done by scripts. While mission playing started by Editor or Multi it is working, started as SP not.

So I would like to ask for general rules with that SP / MP stuff.
Is it needed to build two different versions (mission and / or scripts) or is there a way to handle all game modes with one version of the mission?

sorry BS,
i have to ask you for help....but could you upload your sp missions for us to play,especially if you have working artillery!

here is what I found about, now usage still needs to understand well from my side:

as you can see I'm still jigsaw around with all that stuff myself.
If I think it could be released to public I will do.

My AI-IF44-Mortar-system is no artillery which could be called by player.
It's a selfrunning AI mortar which is grown highly complex. This will take more time to be finished.
But I believe I have some other script so you can insert arty fire. I'll have a look.
I think Gunter or tay-uk will have some of these scripts too.
