The pistol issue seems to have been fixed, great job! 

Your sounds are great, espicially how there's a bit of an echo. I like that as my experience with ww2 era weapons vs modern is that they indeed are quite a bit louder, naturally this has to do with the calibre etc.

When testing your new version, the P38 and thompson sounds are definitly way better than the last version.

My personal opinion is that the garand maybe sounds a bit "weak". Aside from that the nagant, G43 and SVT40 could perhaps also have a bit of more punch to them.

Update
Optional patch added to the main post. It has nothing to do with sounds. It fixes the rate of fire on both flak-38's. I also added the proper muzzle brake smoke effect on the Zis-3 gun.
I just wish AWAR spent more time on the Ai weapon usage.

Aren't the 38's more realistic with the changes? To stretch the ammo on the quad. I made it so it fires by twos and not all fours at a time. It's a real fire mode for the 38, I checked. Too bad the Ai can't fire weapons correctly.[frown]

I'm thinking it should work as IF is still intact in terms of weapon configs from the conversion, your not actually using vanilla Arma3 weapons
but original IF conversion assets from arma2Co that you had converted from vanilla IF, so my hunches tell me yes it should work, try it.

Thanks for you're reply, looks like it's working well. I've put the soundmod on my IF3 collection via PlayWithSix, a bit of long loading but sounds are good!

Hey guys, I recorded 18 videos and put them together in a playlist to help promote the sound mod, each video is like a 12-16 sec of all
the infantry weapons for the Germans and the Russians, I also recorded the tanks for both factions as well, See the playlist here:

Big news guys! Version 3.0 of the San6 Mod has been released. Main post updated!!
It is NOT a patch. Back up the old version if you'd like.
 
I attempted to improve the way the Ai fires their weapons. For more realistic fire fights. It was impossible! BIS and pro modders can't do it so I gave up on that.
Remember this isn't just a sound mod anymore. I don't know if it works for Arma III. Nor am I aware of any incompatibility issues with other mods.

Thank you for the video promotion. I will compile that version of the mod later to contain only sounds. I'll make it available as a Legacy download.
