Question for you all. Do you mined units having Flare Pistols? I was thinking about removing them from the units. Or maybe placing them in the backpacks.
I think flares more more limited then the game portrait. Plus Arma 3 has better night lighting.

@Gunter
I can't, so can you change the post/thread title to " San6_Mod ". Thank you.

I think removing them is an excellent idea!
It is not uncommon having AI going for their flare guns as if they were handguns, making them easy targets.

I really dig this sound mod, but it appears I'm getting major issues with it now. For example, when I use the machine gunner from the Luftwaffle, if I fire many rounds, only the first one plays, and the rest is silence.

I'm playing the ArmA II conversion of the game, and I literally have nothing running other than the conversion of Iron Front and its DLC. I believe they're updated to their current versions (1.13 for the base game and 1.08 for the DLC) so I'm not sure what the issue is here...):

My friend is having trouble with the San6A3 sound mod. It is definitely installed correctly, I have it exactly the same way. He can hear his own sounds but we can't hear his and he can't hear ours. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

There are to versions of the mod for Arma 2 and 3. Make sure they load after the all conversion. That's all I can tell you.

@idkwidlol
Assuming it's installed correctly. I don't think a mod will pose this issue. Could be a compatibility issue with another mod.

Beyond that. Like I've said before. I'm not skilled in the Arma 3 code. I learned from scratch as I was making this mod. It's the limit to my understanding.

I completely understand. The mod is definitely installed correctly. We now have several members having this issue but we cannot work out any similarities they have between each other. They are both running IF lite version but it cannot be that as we have several others who are running lite but do not have that issue. It is very strange, indeed.

I found the cause to error;
Code:
No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/ModuleCurator_F/Arguments/Addons/Values/All.default'.

Will update once I find other things to add or improve.

I'm getting the graphics glitch with the arms sticking out.  It was with the old and new sound mod.  Running IF as a mod in ARMAII.  Everything patched up to date running the followings mods: CBA,CBA A2, CBA AO  IFWARMOD, ODENLIB, LIB DLC, MAP EU, NEW UNITS & WEAPONS  IF RANGERS.  I just added 1 mod at a time and when I activated the sound mod the glitch appeared.  I did'nt try different combo's, just what I normally run.  Hope this helps and thanks for your efforts with your mods.

Suggest run the mod by itself----> @CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@IF;@DDAY;@San6
and see if you get the same results, as IFWarMod is a massive mod that has about 80+ addons and mods in it, its possible it could be SLX files within the mod idk but
run it by itself in the same situation you discovered the problem and see if it occurs as the author wont run all your mods and check along with his mod, I wouldn't,
so that imo would be your best bet, this way you will narrow down the issue.

Sound mod sounds great in IFA3, problem now is, since BIS's sound upgrade in their recent patches, it has given the game a more whispy, cracking sound to the
firefights which overtones the gun shots from individual weapons, it ruins the game, I wonder if there is someway around this where maybe the gunshot volume
are louder within a certain proximity of the player, as now its just this whispy sound vs actually hearing a gunshot fired, and you cant tell whos shooting.
Anyone else getting this?

Hello. Just dropping by to say I'm done with the mod scene and maybe Arma all together. So good luck and as with IFA3, Hopefully someone picks up sound modding for this.
