Greetings to the Iron Front community!

I am from the Tactical Battlefield team (arma 3 PvP Mod) http://www.tacbf.com and I am happy to announce that we are making a strong push towards hosting PVP events using Iron Front! [smile]

Yesterday was test session #2 and we had about 25 players (we even had a tank battle). We will start getting into Iron Front regularly so sign up on the forums or just check up for the Iron Front announcements here!

This wednesday we will be conducting our third test session at 1800UTC

We require players to download our @IF_Extra mod which includes recoil, damage, and other fun stuff such as molotovs.

So if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to post here or over at the official TacBF forums and I will try to answer any questions. Otherwise, hope to see you guys excited and ready to play some PvP Iron Front A3 [biggrin]

Thanks for posting Gunther.
One question, those mods you have, can we make them available for the IF community in general, and may i host them on the MR?
Also the IFA3 team has a patch coming soon which should be fixing the recoils.

Unfortunately right now we are only using Bitsync, because we are making changes to it frequently. So this is the only way at the moment.

Bitsync is a little different then bittorrent and has alot more functionality for something that we are working on imo.

If you only use bitsync to download our files. You wont have any issues with viruses. If you start downloading movies and pirated software I cant help [smile]

So what BitSync does is it allows the dev's to have a master folder they work out of and any changes will be sent to the read only clients.

It will just download everything you need into a folder in BitSync root itself.

We also have an install.bat that creates a launch icon that will automatically join the server, teamspeak, and create symlinks to your a3 folder for ease of usability.

Guys, best ask on their forums (linked in 1st post) as Gunther S hasn't been here since July.
