Very important issue raised by Heavy Ax. Keep request to fix the sights!

In addition:
1. Fix a bug with the machine-gunner, was left sitting in a burning Pz.IV
2. Fix the damage system when the tank screens (shurzen) is "clean" action tank armor-piercing projectiles and does not take damage is damaged.
3. Fix the damage system when the injury 2-3 armor-piercing shells in the engine Pz.IV (just aft of the tank) do not take him out of action.
4. Correct name of the sniper rifle "Mosin-Nagant" on "sniper rifle model 1891/1930 years".

And again lead designations of weapons and equipment to a single type - according to name the army to use it. Do not know how in the English version, but in Russian - no uniformity system of notation.
P.S. Ready to take a correct designation in the Russian version of the mod (if it is...)

AI behavior in IF and D-Day DLC

-
AI don't move anymore after a firefight or when they spot an enemy miles away (all enemys are down after the fight but my AI buddys don't move an inch)

AI don't use terrain for cover

- AI don't use cover in a firefight

-D-Day DLC mission AI don't move at the beach anymore

- AI tanks drive like a rabid beaver (they spin and shake like a dreidel)

Important: I am an editor player and I love to be a normal soldier, no group leader, I really don't like it to command, and there the AI is so bad that it is really unplayable when I made some "whole map missions", where you and your comrades are taking a city then head over to another front section where your help is needed via a SDKFZ, the AI sometimes don't get in the vehicle. My knowledge in the editor is really good (OFP->ARMA->ARMAII->ARMAIIOA->IF+DLC) so I don't think that is the problem.

IRON FRONT:

- Ai Tanks (only tested with the PZIV) shoot at aircraft with main cannon (this just needs a config update, it doesn't happen in any other OFP series games, not sure exactly what the config issue is, but it should be easy to fix). It really kills the vibe of close air support when a PZIV shoots you out of the sky with an AP shell.

- Simple Support Module doesn't work on dedicated server. I'm fixing this locally for a mission where I'm including the script directly, but I'm pretty sure it's a "waituntil {player == player}" line that was intended to support JIP but broke dedicated server use. Also present in the latest version of OA. I'll post a thread when I fix it for sure.

What: "homing" bombs
Where: IF. DLC probably too.

Description: bombs are not dropped from the plane on target by proper ballistic trajectory, but are released and behave like homing missile.

Problem is known, but I did some tests to know a reason and fixing possibilities. I'm not config specialist, but seems, that this problem is:

1. of Arma itself origin, not specific only to IFL;
2. pure config issue.

Seems, that there is no such thing in Arma engine like AI airplane handling prior to steer fixed weaponry for effective target engaging (hence, I think, also rare usage of MGs on land targets) or it is not working, as should. So AI will not handle the plane to achieve proper, pure ballistic, free fall bombardment of given target. If bomb ammo config is changed, so it is no longer homing, bomb is released far to early. If there is configured only limited homing capability for bomb "missile" then, depending on values, we will see exact hit or miss, always exactly same miss for given approach azimuth, level, speed etc. (no even minimal randomness noted by me). So my guess is, that such situation is kind of makeshift to conceal lack of AI plane steering capabilities, or consequence of the fact, that Arma is about modern warfare, where many of used bombs have limited steering/homing capabilities.

Frankly I'm pessimistic about any fix for that, but perhaps there will appear some idea. Perhaps there is some possibility of tweaking the conditions, that must be met for releasing a bomb by AI pilot (mostly anlge and distance from the target).

Thats why I always wondered why there isn't a Ju87G, which wouldn't need to drop nonhoming bombs to damage/destroy a tank.

Recently I experimented with planes in Invasion1944 and tried some scripts letting the AI drop their bombs around a marker on the map. Wouldn't it be possible to use something like that as a workaround?

What: "listed twice" RPT error message + some other RPT stuff
Where: IF

Description: Each game launch there is many annoying RPT messages like:

Code:
Item STR_ifdm_load listed twice
Item STR_ifdm_param_duration listed twice
Item STR_ifdm_param_score listed twice
Item STR_ifdm_briefing listed twice


and so on, list is long. Good thing would be to clear RPT of any error messages.

Not going to happen, patch isn't being worked on right now, as we are working on something else that is required before we can make any fixes,
so right now we are just doing alot of testing and gathering a list of bugs as that is what this list is.

You made it sound much closer for release in the past updates 
The IFR team fits in perfectly with the BIS team in those respects
