Thanks for posting, list updated, and welcome to the IF Fan forums!

In the future please just post what the issue is and give a brief description of whats wrong, as the purpose of this list is so that the IFR team (us)
can review the list, and refer to the description for information to give us an idea of whats wrong, just saying something needs to be fixed gives us
more work as we need to test it and find out what is the real issue, having a description allows us to bypass the need to do other things and helps
us get to the issue reported, this goes for everyone that is going to report, be specific.

lastly this thread isn't a discussion just to report.

  • Immobile tracks when traversing
When traversing in a tank the tracks don't counter rotate properly.

In the editor create a trigger.  In the bottom left corner of the trigger screen select Effects.

The idea is that you select a sound and it plays when the trigger fires.  This works just fine in Arma2.

In Iron Front, most sounds do not play.

Place yourself on the map as an infantry soldier.

Place any aircraft on a runway.  Set the aircraft as "playable".

Group the aircraft with you and set it as your subordinate.

Order it to move to a few meters in front of yourself.

He will take off and fly over you.  (In my case the aircraft started on a runway 6,000 meters away).

The FW 190 has not retracted his undercarriage!

All other aircraft will have retracted their undercarriage.

To confirm this select "T" and jump into the pilot's seat.  For the FW190 the menu item "Gear up" is not there.

To summarise: An AI pilot flying a FW190  cannot retract his undercarriage.

In another test of the above:

Place an FW190 on a runway  and give it a waypoint  6,000 meters away

Place yourself adjacent to the waypoint.

This time you are not grouped with the aircraft.

The FW190 wil fly over you.  This time the ubdercarriage is retracted as it should be.

The issue is only an issue when the aircraft is grouped with yourself.

Any bugs, issues you guys find, in Iron front or the DLC please report it, and we can fix it.
Be sure to review the lists of issues already reported before you post.

Thank you for your efforts, together we can make Iron front great, if they cant fix it, then we will, and IFR team has a way

Some things I've noticed not mentioned yet.

1. In Triple Monitors, the gun sights for tanks is out of whack, wrong squished shape, making it useless to read and use.

2. Fire-control is not working for the Katyusha. Screen is there and it lets you pick spots but it will not fire when you are the gunner.

3. When you are commanding a German tank and order the a.i. to fire at a Russian tank greater than 1000 meters, the ai will always under shoot the target and miss it. Happens when using all of the German tanks to fire at any Russian tank regardless of experience and difficulty setting.

Both anti-tank guns stutter when hitched to any vehicle. The guns also wobble everywhere when you try to rotate the gun while pushing.

Place any unit on the map. Notice the unit icon has a marker in the top left corner. Russians have a hammer and sickle and Germans have a Iron cross.

The SDkfz251 comes in 2 versions in the game. A German version and a version with Russian markings captured by the Russians.

The one captured by the Russians incorrectly has an Iron cross in the corner - it should be a hammer and sickle.

Here some other:
- the front amor of Panther and Tiger I are to less: The Sherman und T34/76 can not penetret the front amor over more 100 m, the T34/85 need less then 500 m, IS 2 ~ 1000 m.
-Just the IS 2 can penetret the front claces or mantlet (on a turret)  from a Kingtiger, anybody else just can pentret side or back.
-Panzerschreck shooter overaim the traget if the are close.
-If you give them an order to attack a tank and the are on a position "middle" they will kill himself, like an early suezidbomber ;-)
- if somebody have a meanweapon and a pistol, sometime for him it is anavailble to move, after he like to change from a pistol back to a gun or SMG.

But anyhow, that's a game with a great potentiall and THANKS OF YOUR GUYS is still have a change to get a legend.

Its not, we haven't worked on anything for it since August, I have no one around to work on it, this waiting we have been all doing has put a price on everyone's patience so the team all moved on to their own thing, only folks we have is but a few guys to work on misc stuff, but right now all we are doing is preparing for release of what we have.
For questions concerning anything the unofficial patch, or anything that IFR is doing use this thread:

The thread here for the unofficial patch is mostly a list for the community to report any issues with the game they find.
Final word here- once we release what we have which is anytime now we will then move onto the official patch and other things, the IFR team will need some new members to help work on it. Lets keep this thread for just reporting issues you guys find, but thanks for asking.

Title: Flying Paks

A really annoying issue is that sometimes when you try to move a PAK its turning to a "flying" and uncontrolable object.

Title: Garbage collected objects

First, I dont know if it is bug or meant to be...

The problem is that sometimes (non static) objects like tanks, trucks, PAKs, ... just disappear. It seems there is a logic implemented which looking for objects at the field which are destroyed, damaged or had not been used for some time and deletes them.
This is really annoying when you move a PAK in postion, leave it for 2 Minutes to do some exploration and when you get back it just disappears.
