Winterland
Ironfront retexture addon

[mod]

Simple Retexture into snowmen.

Download (requires IFA3 LITE)
http://odenhouse.servegame.com/@IFA3w.7z

These are all low res (512 and standard set by kju) but if/when IFA3 LITE goes full texture I will release the full version of Winterland too.

There is a Dust CTI on Chernarus Winter to go with this, have a look in that thread for the Rev.2 of that mission.

For those of you that does not know what winter is:

Now hosted on the MR IFA3 Winterland
Suggestion for you to post some screenshots, so folks know specifically what the textures are for.

This mod in CTI action:

[cti01]
Lend-Lease M2 50 cals can wreak havoc on APC's such as SdKfz 251 (heading for Chernogorsk)

[cti02]
Running back down to Chernogorsk after death from German ambush close to their town HQ - Sun is nice but also blocking your view.

[cti03]
This time we go CQB all the way to the German factory building they have as HQ.

[cti04]
After a few failures (deaths) I finally gets my hands on a T-34/76 and is able to seal the deal - Chernogorsk is now in Soviet hands.

[cti05]
Pressing west along the coast we overrun the next town - in CTI the smaller faster tanks can be very valuable.

[cti06]
We now have the Germans in a pocket and I decide to head back towards Balota to go north from there.

[cti07]
The Germans captures Nazdez' on my way north so I redirect and passes an abandoned Guards SU-85 on my way up.

[cti08]
Recapture is succeeded and knowing the hilly terrain in the area I choose to halt my T-34 here and press on with 1 AI in a Lend-Lease Jeep.

[cti09]

Uphill going 400 mph, minimum! (felt like so after the T-34/76, and that is a fast tank)

[cti10]
Disembarking outside Koz' checking map for HQ building (yes, that is weak I know!) planning CQB movement with my single AI.

[cti11]
Preparing to fire off a burst but I recognize him as a fellow rifleman - sadly someone guns him down just after this screen.

[cti12]
Getting inside capture zone - all nervs on alert.

[cti13]
The German HQ building is crowded and the PPSh-41 proves its value when it comes to close-in-action.

[cti14]
The last defender gets cleared out and capture is in progress.

[cti15]
Just outside I find a broken PzKpfw IV J, good thing I didnt get here earlier.

[cti16]
That was the last town in German hands and this time the Red Army won the local war.

So, as you can see I never went heavier than a T-34/76.
CTI is a delicate decision game where speed sometimes is more valuable than a heavy JS-2 or Tiger I but at the same time going too fast you can find yourself running COD all over the map recapturing the same town again and again.
