On May 25, it will be the 1 year anniversary of the release of Iron Front.  Are the devs going to say something?  Is there going to be a big multiplayer event?  Is there anything that is going on at all?  I personally think that we should do something.

We been doing something since March, and more then anyone, any company related has done.
Birthdays dont mean anything, Devs wont say anything as they are gone, as we had said a while back and even on IF official forums,
Awar who are the developers stopped their work and moved onto their own project which is on the Crytek engine and obviously unrelated to Iron Front,
so you want see anything happen.

Iron front again as has been said is dead in the development aspect of the game, it wont be updated anymore, or added too.
Only thing that is going on with Iron Front is the focus on sales of the Iron front and DDay DLC bundle that they (DeepSilver who are the publishers) are trying to sell.

other then that, dont expect anything else other then from the IFR team here.

Also you could have use this thread to ask the same question.

That doesn't mean we can't have a little fun on that date though.

I would like to play an organised game if possible. I'd be playing IF with SimHQ on that day anyway, but can always squeeze in some more IF .

It will be the day after my last exam, so I guess I could spend the day partying playing IF with you guys.

Personally the day of the release of the game a year later dont mean anything to me considering where the game went.
Tbh I'd rather celebrate the event when ahem does their thing, ahem only IFR team knows about this and some others,
and no thats all I can say, you all will find out in the near future here.

1 year, not much time. And yet those who developed this game have abandoned it other than their minimal attempts to get a few more bucks out of it with little effort on their part.  I knew there was a reason they brought the old forum back up after they shut it down. And true to form, it was to make money on the "Golden Edition"!!! Pitiful, Pitful, Pitiful!!!!

How about this, how about on the 1 year anniversary they announce the game is wide open for modding and that they will hold a contest for the best Mod to IF44 with a cash prize.  But the mods have to be focused on expanding the Eastern Front.

They could then sit back and rake in the money as the Mod community made them money with the mods that would be developed.  But these idiots could not pour piss out of a boot with instructions written underneath the heel of the boot.  Still no approval to Mod which would make them money with no effort on their sorry parts!

But I share Gunter's feelings that at the one year mark to see the way these guys have abandoned a game with so much potential, is nothing to be excited about.

And those doing nothing to keep this game alive and that insult Gunter, who is trying to keep this game alive along with his team, i say get lost, we don't need you here!

Can't connect to the server because I don't know the password to the server, don't know the password to the server because I don't know the password to the TS3 server, don't know the password to TS3 because my account isn't approved. Endless rabbitholes.  Barnacles.
