Hi there,
have you tried in the "released scripts" part of the forum tay_uk's" realistic Para Drop Template"?
You do need the d-day omaha map.Download it and put it in my documents-iron front other profiles-player-missions.
From there you can open it up from the mission editor.I tried it and it works, but i havn't tried/editing it/ copying it onto another map yet.Has a great intro!!
Hope this helps!

I figured out what i was doing wrong. I was getting a warning box pop up when i tried to review the paradrop in the mission editor. It said something like: "can Not find paradrop script". It turned out i was putting the script in the wrong missions folder. My steam games is on my "G" drive. That is not where i needed to locate the correct missions folder. I had to put the paradrop script in C/ users/ coochie /My documents / iron front / missions. Then it worked like a charm.

I am creating an awsome mission that i plan to upload for everyone to use. Im still learning so it takes a lot. iv got a good 20 or 40 hours of work (and play) in this mission.  It looks beautifull. The paradrop is gonna make it look like you are droping into an insane war zone at night with tracers flying by and plane being shot down like on band of brothers movie scene of the night para drops.

Coochie when your mission is ready submit to the MR and I will host it for you.
You can also make a release thread for it in the same section here for the missions.

That sounds great.. my problem with missions is they tend to end up being one big , insane battle and i have a hard time figuring out what i want the actual mission to be beside two side fighting and stuff blowing up everywhere. They all tend to be like 30 missions in at once in a battle. Thats what takes me so long. I allways end up haveing infantry, tanks and planes, anti aircraft etc. I need to figure out story lines to focus on. I feel a lot of missions i download seem to be missing intense battle.

I'd keep it small/medium as with IF the engine is not the optimized version as the Arma2CO one and it lags more, and doesn't run as well so it will be better
if you keep your missions half the size you want.
Start with that, but something to think about is on the eastern front what and how would the Germans fight each other, if you know your history of
the Ostfront then it should give you some ideas on what to make.

As for making a mission more optimized on its own i suggest using either a caching script, and or make sure you are using a body/vehicle removal script, or both, but
dead bodies, burning vehicles will lag the mission, and the mission will lag even more making it unplayable if its big.
