Sorry Gunter and Joe, I thought I replied.  Both of you thank you for your advice.

Now I seem to have an issue with trying to put some Ammo boxes on the map.  Not the normal ammo boxes with gear already in them but the other.  Here's the situation.  On the map I put from the "Empty" side, class - Objects (Military), unit - ammo and in the init field I have this in it, 
null0 = this execVM "ammo.sqf"

I have a sqf named ammo.sqf with this in it

I found this on armaholic and changed the weapons/ammo to Ironfront's.  I tried putting a folder named "scripts" in my mission but it couldn't find the ammo.sqf so I just dropped it in the main area of the mission.  Now when I fire up the mission I get this error No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.LIB_Ladung_PM_MINE_mag'. I can't get in the crate because nothing shows up to allow me access to it.  I also need something that allows it not to be destroyed.  Any ideas on how I can correct this so that I can access those weapons?  According to the creator I should be able to put this for a truck so that my equipment would be in there..... doesn't work.


I found out this is backwards

I am not sure what you are trying to do but I experimented.

Place a US ammo box on the map and then check it's contents. it has various US weapons and their magazines.

In the box init type:  clearweaponcargo this; clearmagazinecargo  this; this addWeaponCargo ["LIB_MP40",20];

All the US weapons and ammo have been removed and replaced  twenty MP 40's

Follow this and you can add any weapons and ammo that you wish.

I was hoping to use the that model of a group of boxes and/or a truck because of the amount of weapons/ammo I have in it.  I did as you said and it almost worked but it was still missing weapons and ammo.  Here is the code I put in

As you can see I think I have everything hehe.  Not all of it is in the box for some reason, is there a limit at to how much can be in it?  I tried putting this code in a truck's init field but nothing showed up at all.  Also tried it in the ammo boxes ( grouped boxes ) under Objects ( Military ) but I still can't access it, no icon shows up to indicate an interaction menu.  

If I can't get it to work the least I would like to do is have it so the regular ammo/weapon boxes don't get destroyed during the bombings.  Do you know of a code that I can put in the init field to keep them from being destroyed?

thats because you have to define it in the code you put in the init line of the ammo box, like this:

null = this execVM "scripts\ammo.sqf"


if you put the script in the mission folder itself and not in any subfolders like a folder named scripts, then the code would work like this:
null = this execVM "ammo.sqf"

for every subfolder or folder rather you add a script to then you need to add the name of the folder to the code and then put a \ (backslash) to indicate a folder and then the name of the script itself.

Think of it this way the code in the init box is just a link, or an address to whats in the mission folder.
so if you have 2 folders and the last folder has a script in it then you would do it like the above code:
scripts\scripts2\ammo.sqf
for every folder you have you add \  this represents a folder, its the same for internet links.
Not all codes run this way though, it really depends on what your doing.

this allowdamage false;

put the code anywhere in the line but be sure to end it with ; although the ; isn't needed if theres no other code following.

As usual joe98 is quite right,
I do have some artillery templates which Tayuk very kindly gave to me and with which i have had great fun.The only thing is i have only been able to trigger them to STOP firing with a trigger...i have no idea how to get them to START firing with a trigger...they fire explosive rounds,smoke or flares.I will gladly share them if you wish.Also (again with Tay's help Joe 98's, Poor Old Spike and B'S)I have a template in which a jeep drives up and a custom ammo crate "appears".Again i'll gladly share it.The only problem is that for some reason i can't upload them onto the MR...my computer inexperience.Do PM me or anyone else for that matter and i'm sure something can be worked out.It would be great to share community work.

Sorry to hear about the family emergency I hope things turn out well.

Would someone be willing to look at this blitzkrieg mission and tell what I'm doing wrong.  I have the Germans as the attacker but for some reason they are starting at position 8 and attacking 9.  I need them to start at their base and position 1 continuing their attacks in numerical order.  This is my Dropbox link (link removed, I found the error)

I've only done a mission with the Russians attacking so I haven't run across this.  If anyone is interested in checking out that mission, again it's a blitzkrieg mission, here is another Dropbox link for that link removed if interested I will upload again.

I play these with 100 AI and set up the parameters before the game.

edit:  I found the issue, had to correct the zones.

If anyone is interested in trying it out here is the corrected version link removed if interested I will upload again.

Remember I play with 100 AI on the field and change the parameters to my liking.  I like to keep it this way so that the mission can be fought in a variety of conditions, they are at default unless changed by the user.
