Is there a possibility to hitch already a Pak40 to an Opelblitz, as soon as the beginning of the mission ?

Yes.
Add a truck.
Set init=if (isNil 'LIB_Wheeled_Towing') then { LIB_Wheeled_Towing = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers '\LIB\wheeled\data\scripts\Towing.sqf'; }; scripthandle = [this] spawn LIB_Wheeled_Towing;
Add an empty PAK40 behind truck.
Run mission.
Increase speed to 500 mph.
Unhitch and laugh [smile]
(they really should disable useraction when speed > 0, but who am I to complain [smile] )

Unfortunatly, it doesn't work under Iron Front alone. But effectively, it works fine under Iron Front under ArmA OA. [smile] Thank's a lot. [wink]

Oh, I've already blocked standalone from my awareness [smile]

Try same but name the PAK-40 to "pak" and add to the OpelBlitz init:
if (isNil 'TomJones') then { TomJones = compile preprocessFileLineNumbers '\LIB\LIB_ARTY_SCRIPTS\Towing\LIB_ARTY_MOVING.sqf'; }; scripthandle = [this,pak] spawn TomJones;

Works on Ivachev - no sample mission this time.

Oden, to be more stylish we should better replace 'TomJones' by 'CharlesAznavour' in this case. [smile]
Serious, Is there a way to make that towing a little better?
It's looks really bad while the pak is standing, the carrier moving meters forward and then the pak jumps to the carrier and so on and so on.
Did I made something wrong or is this normal?

Anyhow, yes the towing is pretty much better than nothing I guess but one day I'll try to solve this such with attachTo and then turning the gun azimuth etc. as the truck moves - it is a bit jerky as of now, especially in MP, but I still think they've done a good work with it (some days I even feel that the stiff attachTo could be a better solution at hand, but I don't play too deep in the realism crowd area though but is rather more interested in the feature of moving static guns on the battlefield for a reason. Tactics over details).

Time is not what one has most of when there's sooo many other things to do too.
