Hi, I am thinking of doing a mission in Szyldow (I think it's called that) how do I put units on the castle walls?

I tried to put units on the walls with the editor but couldn't do it.
They could only be placed on these 3 towers, no scripting is needed, just plonk them on there like I've done (the blue dots)-

This is the West tower, note there are stairs you can run up and down if you're human, but AI bots might not have the brains to do it, but you can start them up there in the editor-

The South tower has no stairs, you can place AI bots on it with the editor, but if you start yourself there you'll be stuck up there for the duration of the war-

The East tower also has no stairs but AI bots can be started there-

(PS- I'll add this stunning post to the 'Help' thread)

Try this on each unit. Change X to the necessary height.

this setPosATL [getPosATL this select 0, getPosATL this select 1, X]; This SetUnitPos "UP"; DoStop this;

Another way is to create a trigger and place the code below in the On Act. line. Set the trigger to activate via radio. For example on Alpha.

copyToClipboard format ["this setPosATL %1;this setDir %2",getPosATL player, getDir player]

Preview the mission. Stand and face where you want to place the unit and activate the trigger via radio alpha (I think it would be 0-0-1). That copies that position into your clipboard.
Go back into the 2D editor and double click the unit you wish to place in set location. Ctrl+V to paste the coordinates into that units Init line.
Preview once more to see if it was successful.

Both work with any unit or object.
