'I second this' or 'I have the same problems'
Sorry for the confusion.

To the guys having these problems. What video cards are you using?
Is it only in the same places or does it do this after a while?
Also, does it do it for you in Arma2 or ArmaCO?
What setting do you have the video memory in game set at, high, normal, default etc...?

I have been fooling around with this and haven't seen anything like this yet. I use a 690 on default setting with everything set to high or very high with process at off.

It happened to me aswell. I tried to reproduce it where it happened but everything ran smooth. I did find the object behind the glitch.
It's under; Editor/Units/Empty/Buildings/Market table. It's the first market table option. It bugged under Arma 2 CO. I have an HD6850 graphics card. Will take screens if it happens again.

Attention
Gentlemen, we have new files, the versions you have currently are not the latest versions, we had made a mistake
some of our file versions got mixed up some how, the new files are being uploaded and relinked within the hour here.

Just to note the new units and weapons are considered WIP, they are more in a final beta stages, problem is the author of those units
and weapons is no longer with IFR due to real life reasons, so we have create a patch for now to fix some minor classname errors, and some other issues.
Report your issues here
http://ironfront.forumchitchat.com/post/ifr-reports-6700601?pid=1281026733#post1281026733
not on the feedback tracker.

i want to keep the IFR projects thread here for more of a question and answer and news thread then for bug reporting and issues.

If you aren't having any issues without the new units, and weapons but then are with the new units and weapons then its obviously related.
Just please report what your having, and also post a rpt if you can and we can look into it.

Thank you for your patience and interest, new links will be available soon.

Definitely NOT, last days/weeks I play ARMA2 CO like mad, and haven't notice anything.

guys, try the default setting and not high or very high for video memory. Arma seems to like this setting over those others. I have had lots of video cards and have run an 8 computer lan set up in my basement with varying models of video cards and default produces the least amount of those textures streams or tears.

now, it could actually be just a certain area where this happens so could you guys please give us a picture of where this happens so we can try and reproduce this?

those green bars are from arma 3 and it is not a bug.

thanks

I doesn't change anything, I did last night DEFAULT/NORMAL/HIGH.
With other setting I will play tonight

I compared the map files; original vs converted, and below are the results.
Perhaps those numbers might draw some attention ( in red I marked as NO CHANGE )
The question is why does it happen in IF ArmA MOD ( Staszow and Baranow ONLY )

Links on the first post have been updated with the latest files.
The new units and weapons are ready also:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7bx2i13qmqt01a7/New%20Units%20%26%20Weapons.rar
The new version is the latest, let us know if any issues.
Also the download is reduced to 285mb instead of 612mb as before!

Ok. Can you guys try and play the game at a reduced view like BS, from 3600m to say 1500m, and turn down the textures to normal and see if that helps? You only have 1024MB of video ram BS and this has caused issues in arma2 when it was first released.
Are you guys able to play arma2 with the same settings and be able to walk around the largest cities in cherno without this issue?

Also, there was a command that BIS made people use because there was a memory leak that caused similar issues to flush the vram. I don't recall what it was at the moment, but can be found on the BIS forums and here somewhere I think.

Lets face it, the game tries to do to much and needs better optimization.  The arma series and IF will tend to struggle on lower end video cards with 1GB of memory if the owner dials up the settings too much I hate to say it.

So...try reducing the view distance to no higher than 1500m, lower textures and object detail to normal or less and leave the video memory on default and see what happens.

... accordingly to GPU-Z, I have dedicated 850MB, and only 80% is used.

rowdied, thanks for your time. I mentioned above. ArmA2 works PERFECT in HIGH and Default settings.
I've just bought this game, and played many hours in recent days ( By the way, I'm starting to like it a LOT ), had no issue whatsoever.

I have just located a troubled house, as seen below.

1 - approach from far ( looks good )
2 - right click zoom, the light blue glow appears on building
3 - pointing gun right, the glow like texture disappears.

My guess is that this house confuses the GPU causing other issues.

I've replayed some test mission 12 times, with different approaches, always this same house.

Such houses could be elsewhere , Staszow marketplace etc

I've got an idea I'm going to repack the original Staszow map with some changes to ironfrontarmacompatibilityaddon.pbo.
I'll see if it helps...

rowdied do you mean?

Press both L Shift and the Hyphen(-) key in the num pad. Release then and type flush

irontiger I've seen that blue ghosting in the SA Iron Front as well. On a corner house no to far from there. Have you seen the long doorway shadow bug yet?

Yes that is it. does doing this help?

I am going to try these areas and see if I can replicate this.
