Hi All,

Whilst I feel I know my way around the mission editor fairly well, know how to make use of scripts and addons reasonably proficiently, I have come across addon's I'd like to make use of but can not understand how to incorporate into a mission.

Of the 'Nuclear Bomb' scripts I've found, I've picked out two.

Downloaded the packages and read through what there is, but still cannot understand how to use:

DSU_Mod_Nuke1.7z

or

LKnukev0.9.rar

Either of these would be fine.

What I'd like is to create the explosion from a trigger, activated by a player, with a pause.

How do I get this into my mission? Any pointers would be most appreciated.

  Cheers!

Foxsch

Thanks Buddy ~ A Truly Awesome Script : -)

It de-ported back to ARMA II just fine.
I followed the trigger instructions in the Altis Mission, set a trigger and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!
I must have more or less incinerated, and contaminated a whole section of the globe.

I think I'll retire, and try and put a farm together, ... on what's left ... Cheers [wave]

May I ask in what case you want to use that bigbadthing inside IF44?
Or was it just for fun to see what will happen?

It is being used in a Mission, but I am taking advantage of a lot of 'poetic license' in using the Atomic Effects.
At the finale of the Mission, which (without giving too much away) is based on a film.
The finale of the film is one HUGE explosion, detonated by allied forces...
I am open for some guesswork from the community here as to which film the mission is based on.
Also, just in case it is a little while until the mission is ready for release, I will let you know that it will not be possible to actually get far enough away from the effects of the blast before the detonation.

Basically the end of mission is; you just die.

Pretty typical Foxsch humour if you ask me [wink]
