Hi Spike,

We're always looking for another mature player for our Co-op Group

We usually play most weeknights testing my co-op campaigns around 10pm.est.US

Stop in for a mission here

Thanks guys, I only got vanilla Iron Front this morning from Amazon on disk and have been having fun playing it almost non-stop for 12 hours including building experimental missions in the editor and took to it like a duck to water because the system is so like AA2CO..
It's Iron Front version 1.60 out of the box, is that the latest or do I need to patch up?
In due course I'll also look around for D-Day and get that too.

PS- there are some good enlarged computer-enhanced photos here which skinners etc might find useful-

WW2 MIXED BAG- http://forums.gamesquad.com/showthread.php?104031-WW2-Photos

WW2 AIRCRAFT- http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=ForumsPro&file=viewforum&f=92

And I've got about 250 Arma2 tactical/tutorial screenshots scattered randomly around the BI forums

Thats the engine version, latest version is 1.05 of the game, so you may have version 1.02 of the game, see here for more information:

Patches and DLC can be found here:

Okay thanks, I've patched up tp 1.05/1.65 and have got some wonderful new toys, Tigers..
I'll check everything out for a day or two and then start looking for D-Day, is it free or do I have to buy it?

Welcome Poor Old Spike!

It was posts by Spike over at The Few Good Men forum that gave me the basics of editing.  Thank you!

If you enjoy Iron Front then yes the DLC is a must.

As I see it, Iron Front is Arma2  with 5 new maps and lost of new weapons, vehicles and aircraft!

You will note in the editor, you can add many buildings. You cannot do this in Arma2.

(Also in single player games I have seen my subordinates use use binoculars and throw grenades. I have never seen this in Arma2).

Hi mate, yes although FGM was primarily a Combat Mission-playing club, about half a dozen of us were into AA2 and organised a few online sessions between ourselves but they were a complete disaster because there was no planning with pre-game discussions, we just jumped straight in and ran around like a bunch of headless chickens, a complete waste of time, ha ha.
I tried taking charge to get things organised on a sensible adult footing but nobody seemed interested.

In general concerning this thread, lets keep on topic here, so if anyone wants to offer themselves to play test missions or whatever then post her,
so please let stick to the subject or we'll close this thread.

I've decided not to get D-Day or Invasion for the time being because I want to concentrate on 'Iron Front Liberation' on the Eastern Front 1944 because the East is my favourite WW2 theatre.
Incidentally I prefer small fast-moving combined arms missions with tanks and infantry.

If I have understood correctly, this is the thread to post if one is interested in playing missions, either for testing or as co-op and whatnot.
If have been playing with Operation Flashpoint in the good ol' days, and the later days With Arma and of course IF44 wich is my favourite because of my historical interest in WW2.

I have edited a few missions, nothing fancy, but Tay-uk is familiar With me and some of my stuff from the Phoenix Soldiers era.
Let me know if there could be a use for me somehow,or if there are som mission events planned

Hi Terry ya this is the thread,
Major Mayhem could possibly use your help if he needs assistance dont know really, but hes working on his campaign series which he
has already released 10 missions so far out of the 26 he is planning to release.

Shpagin who has recently released his Hell in the Pacific Tarawa Series maybe could use some testing help, or ideas, or something if he needs it,
hes currently has started work on his next series for a Iron front, he has a thread in the general section.
