Not sure whether this is the right place for my question, but has anyone ever made a script to alter tank damage in IF? Although I know that it was normal for a T-34/85 to get several hits from a Panther KwK, I can't help feeling that they sometimes seem almost invulnerable. Also to the 88mm grenades of the Tiger. I also know this complaint has been heard before about IF, but perhaps someone managed to solve it?

If your playing vanilla game theres nothing for it, its not modable, you can use scripts, but I havent seen any for what your asking for.
For the Arma2Co conversion I have no scripts hosted on the MR for tank damage, you may want to check Armaholic in the scripts section, even look for addons, I know theres one there somewhere.

Also released scripts section is for scripts that have been released, moving thread.

If you weren't too concerned about hit location and effect, you could lower the vulnerability of the T34/85's in your mission using setDamage in the vehicles init?

Go to your options and make sure extra armor is off in the difficulty settings.
When you hit it. Do the hatches pop? A dead crew is a dead tank. Sorry if I'm questioning your intelligence.
The armor is, effectively sloped. What most people think about tank combat and their effectiveness is far from the truth.
They hitting the ammo rack. It's like a head shot insta kill on infantry.
I find the M4 Sherman to have too much survivability.
I asked the devs if they balanced the tanks armor/gun for gameplay perpisons. They said the tanks were modeled with real world combat data. The programing has a huge number of hit points for each tank. Armor angels, thickness, and positions including engines and ammo. With different armor values. I've read vanilla Arma 2 tanks only have one giant hit box.
Given the untimely cancellation on further development by Deep Silver. There was still a lot to tweak and fix on all available content. Seeing that even Kju couldn't crack Awar's advanced armor system. I don't think the issues you are having would get fixed.
